An Invitation to Create for Planetary Light
Creative Media in Service to Human and Planetary Evolution
Planetary Light is being developed as more than a traditional website or collection of written teachings. Our intention is to create a living, multidimensional environment in which spiritual principles, ancient wisdom, contemporary understanding, sound, imagery, movement, and interactive technology can come together in ways that encourage reflection, discovery, and the expansion of consciousness.
As this work continues to unfold, we would like to invite artists, musicians, filmmakers, animators, designers, educators, developers, and other creative individuals to contribute original material that supports the broader evolution of humanity.
The Work
The Work of Planetary Light
The foundation of Planetary Light is the recognition that humanity is gradually awakening to a larger understanding of itself and its relationship with the greater Life in which we participate.
Our work explores subjects such as consciousness, the Soul, spiritual development, world service, meditation, the Ageless Wisdom, the evolution of humanity, the relationship between Spirit and matter, the Seven Rays, planetary centers, the Antahkarana, sacred science, sound, light, vibration, resonance, and the emergence of a more cooperative civilization.
These ideas are approached not simply as philosophical concepts, but as fields that can be explored visually, audibly, contemplatively, and interactively.
Planetary Light therefore seeks to create experiences that allow visitors to encounter an idea rather than merely read about it.
Collaborative Field
A Collaborative Field of Creativity
Planetary Light is not envisioned as the expression of a single voice.
The evolution of consciousness is a collective undertaking, and many different creative languages can contribute to its expression.
A musician may communicate something that cannot easily be expressed through words.
An animator may reveal relationships that would require pages of explanation.
A 3D artist may create a symbolic environment capable of immediately conveying an inner principle.
A filmmaker may capture the living experience behind an idea.
A programmer may transform a teaching into an interactive field of exploration.
A visual artist may create a single image capable of becoming the doorway into an entirely new understanding.
Together these forms can create a richer language for communicating the emerging spiritual realities of our time.
Creating Experiences
Creating Experiences Rather Than Simply Content
One of the central directions of Planetary Light is the development of what might be called experiential wisdom.
A visitor might read an article explaining the Antahkarana, but they might also encounter an interactive visual showing its progressive construction.
A teaching about the Seven Rays might be accompanied by animation, color, sound, and symbolic imagery.
A discussion of vibration might include an audio demonstration, cymatic imagery, or an interactive frequency experience.
A meditation might take place within a carefully designed visual and sonic environment.
A description of planetary consciousness might become an animated journey through the relationships between Shamballa, Hierarchy, Humanity, and the kingdoms of nature.
In this way, technology becomes more than a means of presentation. It becomes a vehicle through which ideas can be encountered from several levels of perception at once.
Beyond the Written Word
Expanding Beyond the Written Word
The contemporary digital environment gives us extraordinary opportunities to communicate spiritual ideas through many different forms.
We are especially interested in developing original content utilizing:
Video
Short films, documentaries, visual meditations, teaching presentations, interviews, symbolic films, narrated essays, contemplative sequences, and cinematic interpretations of spiritual principles.
Audio
Meditations, spoken contemplations, sacred sound, ambient environments, musical compositions, vocal toning, frequency-based experiments, soundscapes, interviews, podcasts, and other forms of contemplative listening.
Animation
Animated spiritual diagrams, symbolic journeys, educational sequences, motion graphics, visualizations of energy and consciousness, cosmological concepts, and animated interpretations of otherwise difficult-to-express spiritual ideas.
3D Content
Three-dimensional environments, symbolic landscapes, temples, planetary models, sacred geometry, human energy systems, visual representations of consciousness, interactive worlds, and cinematic scenes that help make abstract concepts more understandable.
Interactive Experiences
Interactive maps, diagrams, contemplative environments, educational particles, animated infographics, guided explorations, sound-and-light experiences, and other forms of digital participation.
Creative Environment
The Creative Environment
Our own development work utilizes a wide range of professional creative tools, including DAZ 3D, Saola Animate, Adobe Creative Cloud, Ableton Live, web-development technologies, audio production tools, animation systems, and other platforms capable of bringing complex ideas into visual and experiential form.
The particular software used by a contributor, however, is far less important than the quality, originality, and intention of the work.
We welcome contributions created with professional software, open-source tools, traditional artistic methods, emerging technologies, or combinations of these approaches.
What matters most is whether the finished work contributes meaningfully to the purpose of Planetary Light.
Principles Guiding Contributions
Principles Guiding Contributions
Planetary Light is interested in work that seeks to illuminate rather than sensationalize.
We value material that encourages thoughtful exploration, inner reflection, spiritual responsibility, inclusiveness, cooperation, compassion, intelligent inquiry, and service to the greater whole.
Contributions should respect the freedom of each individual to examine ideas through their own experience and understanding.
Our purpose is not to impose belief. It is to create environments in which meaningful questions can be explored and deeper dimensions of life can be considered.
We therefore particularly value creative work characterized by beauty, clarity, dignity, originality, thoughtful symbolism, and a sincere intention to contribute to human understanding.
